Job summary

BayCare Clinic is seeking a Patient Services Representative for Green Bay, WI. The role balances front desk and phone room work, greeting patients, collecting co-pays, and scheduling appointments in a patient-centered environment.

The position requires a high school education (or equivalent) with medical terminology knowledge, strong computer skills, and preferable EPIC experience. Prior medical-setting work is a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• Post high school coursework in Medical Terminology and/or Office Assistant is appropriate.
• Must have a working knowledge of medical terms and health insurance.
• Must possess strong desktop computer skills.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in patients.
• Assists patients in filling out patient forms.
• Answers phones, takes messages, routes calls when necessary.
• Develops patient charts.
• Enters pertinent information into patient charts.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Collects co-payments from patients.
• Performs general office duties.
• Respects and maintains confidentiality.
• Works in a safe, compliant and ethical manner at all times.
