Job summary

Almara Women's Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative for the Maple Grove location. The role handles patient registration, check-in, insurance verification, scheduling, and patient communications in a full-time, on-site capacity, Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with one Saturday every 11th month at the fertility clinic.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients: appointment details, directions, check-in times, referrals and copayments.
• Prepare and manage patient charts and records.
• Answer patient calls, schedule appointments and direct calls as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of health plan requirements and networks.
