The Patient Services Representative at Almara Women's Health is responsible for patient registration and check-in, including collecting co-payments and insurance information. You will handle phone inquiries and scheduling in our Edina office, with occasional Saturday coverage at Maple Grove.

This full-time, on-site role supports a patient-centered practice within Infinite Health Collaborative, requiring excellent customer service and basic medical terminology knowledge to ensure accurate

Description

The Patient Services Representative is responsible for patient registration and check in as well as patient phone calls.

This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM out of our Edina location and every 11th Saturday out of our Maple Grove location.

Almara Women's Health | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Patient Services Representative Essential Functions:

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the current practice management system
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including: appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments

Patient Services Representative Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent
• Customer Service experience required
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred

Patient Services Representative Benefits & Compensation:

• Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
• A $750 sign-on bonus will be offered for select roles, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Working Conditions:

• Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 8 or more hours per day).
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
