Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Patient Access Associate Specialist to ensure a smooth patient registration process and strong data integrity within the revenue cycle. This on-site PRN position requires attention to patient details, insurance verification, and clear communication with patients and clinical staff.

The role emphasizes compliance, POS collections, and supporting KPI targets through accurate data entry and audits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to improve patient and client experiences.
• CRCR certification required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid).

Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity checks, collect insurance information, and process physician orders with excellent service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls as applicable while maintaining compassionate communication.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents to patients and guarantors.
• Meet point-of-service goals and use auditing/reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Screen eligibility using ABN software and document explanations to patients when Medicare may not cover tests.
• Pre-register patient accounts, collect demographics, insurance details, and potential financial liabilities.
