Responsibilities

• Assign accurate MRNs and perform medical necessity checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Provide patient instructions with excellent service as measured by Press Ganey.
• Operate the telephone switchboard and maintain professional communication.
• Pre-register patient accounts and collect demographic and financial data.
• Explain consent forms and distribute patient education documents.
• Review insurance eligibility and support POS and billing processes.
• Screen Medicare ABN software to inform non-payment risk.
• Distribute and document designated forms and pamphlets.
