Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to support daily operations at a Cox location in the United States. You will ensure accurate parts receiving, inventory control, and distribution to technicians and customers.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams. This is an on-site, day-shift position with the potential for additional compensation opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or automotive environment preferred.
• Familiarity with AS400 or Recon360 or similar inventory systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry).

Responsibilities

• Receive & Verify Parts: Check incoming parts against invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• System Entry: Accurately receive parts in Recon360/AS400 and verify against purchase orders.
• Process Invoices: Scan, label, and route invoices and pick-tickets according to procedure.
• Organize Inventory: Tag, store, and maintain parts in designated areas by Work Order.
• Manage Stock Levels: Monitor inventory, order parts, and maintain minimum stock requirements.
• Handle Returns & Credits: Track, process, and document returns and vendor credits.
• Support Technicians: Distribute parts based on Work Orders and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct Audits: Perform daily bin audits and update inventory systems.
• Maintain Safety: Identify and report safety concerns during routine walkthroughs.
• Manage Communication: Respond to emails and coordinate with vendors and team members.
