Job summary

Cox Automotive in Florida is seeking a Logistics Specialist I to receive, verify, and process parts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will enter receipts in AS400/Recon360, manage stock levels, handle returns, and support technicians by distributing parts per Work Orders.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, inventory experience, and strong attention to detail with solid communication skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or automotive environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with AS400 or Recon360 inventory systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, email and data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify parts against invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • Enter receipts in Recon360/AS400 and verify against purchase orders.
  • Process invoices, labels, and pick-tickets according to procedure.
  • Organize inventory by tagging, storing and maintaining parts by Work Order.
  • Monitor stock levels, order parts, and maintain minimum stock.
  • Handle returns and vendor credits and document them.
  • Support technicians by distributing parts based on Work Orders.
  • Conduct daily bin audits and update inventory systems.
  • Identify and report safety concerns during routine walkthroughs.
  • Respond to emails and coordinate with vendors and team members.

Company Cox Automotive - USA Job Family Group Supply Chain Job Profile Supply Chain Logistics Specialist I Management Level Individual Contributor Flexible Work Option No remote option; must work at a specified Cox location Travel % No Work Shift Day Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive & Verify Parts: Check incoming parts against invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
  • System Entry: Accurately receive parts in Recon360/AS400 and verify against purchase orders.
  • Process Invoices: Scan, label, and route invoices and pick-tickets according to procedure.
  • Organize Inventory: Tag, store, and maintain parts in designated areas by Work Order.
  • Manage Stock Levels: Monitor inventory, order parts, and maintain minimum stock requirements.
  • Handle Returns & Credits: Track, process, and document returns and vendor credits.
  • Support Technicians: Distribute parts based on Work Orders and ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform daily bin audits and update inventory systems.
  • Maintain Safety: Identify and report safety concerns during routine walkthroughs.
  • Manage Communication: Respond to emails and coordinate with vendors and team members.
Qualifications

  • Previous experience in parts, inventory, warehouse, or automotive environment preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (AS400, Recon360, or similar) a plus
