Job summary

Sky Lakes is seeking a Safety Assistant for the FLEX Team on-site in Oregon. This part-time role involves supporting patient safety, documenting care, and assisting with activities of daily living under RN guidance.

Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, confidentiality, and willingness to work varied hours, including some weekends. Training and ongoing education are encouraged as part of Sky Lakes’ commitment to safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Required: Good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Required: Complete necessary patient documentation.
• Required: Willing to work varied hours and some weekends.
• Required: Maintain and enforce strict patient confidentiality and respect patient and family rights.
• Required: Willingness to take additional courses as requested.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety from self and environment.
• Completes skills check list and complete Age Appropriate Competencies as per Sky Lakes policy and procedures.
• Assists the patient with meals, feeding and ambulating; activities of daily living per instructions from the RN.
