G&S Foods is seeking a Part-Time EHS Intern to support Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• Familiarity with OSHA regulations or Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) principles preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects or assignments.
• Professional communication with employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update machine-specific LOTO procedures.
• Document equipment energy sources, isolation points, and shutdown procedures.
• Review, organize, and formalize policies within the Safety Guide.
• Draft and update safety policies, procedures, forms, and training materials.
• Participate in workplace safety walk-throughs to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Track identified hazards and corrective actions through completion.
• Maintain safety records, equipment inventories, labels, and photographs.
• Support safety inspections and other EHS projects as assigned.
