Job summary

Lucas Oil invites an Occupational Safety & Health Intern to support the Environmental, Health & Safety team in a manufacturing environment. This role offers hands-on experience in safety operations, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment.

You will help with inspections, incident investigations, documentation, and training, while contributing to continuous improvement and OSHA compliance across the site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily safety operations and EHS initiatives across the manufacturing facility
• Conduct safety inspections, JHAs, and risk assessments under supervision
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Help maintain safety documentation, training records, and OSHA logs
• Participate in safety training, toolbox talks, and employee engagement activities
• Assist with audits, compliance reviews, and safety program updates
• Collect and analyze safety data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support environmental and industrial hygiene initiatives as needed
• Perform other EHS-related duties as assigned

Skills
