Job summary

PrideNow is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to join a fast-paced manufacturing site in Oak Creek, WI. This paid internship provides hands-on safety and standard-work exposure, with 25% plant and 75% office work.

You'll work closely with an EHS Manager and safety trainers, supporting safety initiatives, data analysis in Excel, and tasks such as JSA, incident investigations, and time studies.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or completed Environmental Health & Safety coursework.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluating and developing Standard Work procedures.
• Support safety trainer and Process Engineering in communicating changes.
• Assist with job task time studies and documentation of standard work.
• Participate in weekly team meetings and provide project updates.
• Support safety committee activities (incident investigations, JSA, ergonomic evaluations).
• Assist with implementing and improving Standard Work and using Excel for data analysis.
