Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a field-focused Construction Manager to be the on-site Owner liaison, monitor progress, safety, QA/QC, and permits. You will certify pay apps, review COs/PCOs, and coordinate with GC, EOR, and Owner to ensure project success.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, OSHA safety training, and GC/CM experience; on-site duties and long shifts are expected in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil engineering with 10 years of experience.
• 3+ years field experience in construction.
• OSHA 30-hour Training - Construction Safety and Health.
• Experience working for a GC in a project engineer/CM role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day on-site representative of the Owner and liaison with GC, subs and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and safety; report issues to the GC.
• Verify QA/QC requirements and permits; ensure proper documentation and close-out.
• Review and certify pay applications and change orders with accuracy.
• Coordinate with Owner, GC and EOR on solutions and progress.
