Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation, within the BV Construction group, seeks an on-site field representative to support the Owner and coordinate with the GC, subs, and suppliers to keep the project on track, while upholding safety and QA/QC standards.

You will monitor progress, manage permits, review pay applications, and ensure documentation and communication across teams to deliver a safe, compliant, and high-quality final built asset.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site construction activities.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and safety practices on construction sites.
• Ability to coordinate with GC, subs, and Owner representatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site Owner representative and liaison with GC, subs, and suppliers.
• Monitor construction progress and safety conditions; report issues.
• Review and certify pay applications and change orders; manage documentation.
• Ensure building permits, inspections, and occupancy certificates are obtained.
• Support QA/QC audits and maintain clear communication across teams.
• Document progress with photos and reports; participate in progress meetings.
