Job summary

CHEP UK Ltd. is seeking an On-Site Manager in Dunn, NC to supervise a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment. You will lead operations, drive safety culture, and manage costs while ensuring top service for our customer location.

The role requires forklift experience, manufacturing/logistics background, and strong communication. A HS diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with shift flexibility and bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3–5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Prior forklift operations experience required.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or logistics.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coaching employees and modelling the company values on the floor.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with standards.
• Direct shift maintenance and coordinate with maintenance team.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, quality and cost.
• Monitor costs and yield; partner with Plant Manager on goals.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound product flow and data entry daily.
