Zusammenfassung

CHEP is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise production in a manufacturing setting. You will guide a team, ensure safe and efficient operations, and support plant administration in enforcing policies. The role requires hands-on leadership across forklift, pallet sorting, and repair lines.

You will work Fri through Sun, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with benefits including PTO, 401K, and comprehensive insurance. A strong safety mindset and focus on quality are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience as supervisor or operations lead in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities

Aufgaben

• Lead by example within the assigned functional area, guiding peers and ensuring smooth production operations
• Actively support production activities, stepping in during shifts to maintain workflow
• Collaborate with plant administration to ensure policy adherence and operational compliance
• Enforce policies to maintain inventory accuracy and drive efficiency
• Serve as subject matter expert for areas such as forklift operations, pallet sorting, or repair lines
• Fulfill assigned production duties with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Assist Plant Leadership in managing total plant operations for an assigned shift and drive safety, service, quality and cost
• Supervise production employees, monitor schedules and support training and development
• Support plant administration to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Enforce inventory controls and be prepared to fill in for Operations Supervisors
