Swift Transportation, a leader in truckload transport, seeks a driver operations coordinator in Mesa, AZ. You will coordinate assets, lead on-site operations and collaborate with Sales to grow revenue through dedicated, rail, and logistic opportunities with customers.

Requirements include 2+ years in customer service or driver management, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, planning or driver management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Ability to work under stress while remaining professional at all times.
• Proactive and able to work independently with no supervision.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement systems to maximize utilization of assets at the customer's environment.
• Lead on-site operations at the customer facility; perform Planning, Driver Management and/or Customer Service functions.
• Expand business revenue by exploring dedicated, rail, and logistics opportunities with Customers.
• Communicate effectively with assigned customer personnel and develop positive relationships to enhance growth.
• Maintain understanding of customer service processes and coordinate with KNX planning centers to meet commitments.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining current customer information in the system.
• Learn customer's in-house processes and educate customer on KNX and transportation operations.
• Generate reports regarding service factors and evaluate cost factors.
