Job summary

Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. invites talented undergraduates to join our Business Operations Intern program. This on-site internship in Fairfield, IA runs May 17 – July 30 for 11 weeks, with mentorship and professional development.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in data entry, reporting, and process improvement while collaborating across Operations and Accounting. You will use Microsoft 365, Workday, and Power BI on project needs, and explore AI tools to optimize workflows.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing Administration, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking and effective communication.
• Adaptability, initiative, curiosity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with technology and collaborative work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks for Source Operations.
• Assist with data entry, record maintenance, document management and reporting.
• Provide backup support for operational workflows and continuity of service.
• Collaborate with Operations, Accounting and other departments on shared responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and scalable business practices.
• Utilize Microsoft 365, Compass, Workday and Power BI as needed, and explore AI workflow tools.
