Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Bellevue, WA seeks an Operating Engineer to oversee on-site maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems with minimal supervision. Swing shift: 2 PM - 12 AM.

You will perform tasks from painting and plumbing to preventative maintenance, manage work orders, train staff and assist in emergencies. Requires 3–5 years' related experience and relevant licenses; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
• Washington 07 Electrical License preferred
• City of Seattle Boiler license preferred
• Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance)

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect and maintain mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems
• Maintain the work order system (CMMS) and respond to tenant service requests
• Assist in supervising and training Engineering team
• Troubleshoot building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls
• Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and participate in training
