Job summary

Tectonic is seeking a full-time Office Engineer for upcoming projects in the Hudson Valley and Catskill regions. The role is on-site, with travel to project sites as needed, and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Essential duties include reviewing daily inspector reports, maintaining estimates and material books, and preparing change orders under the guidance of the Resident Engineer. Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma/Equivalent and one of: NICET Level III/IV, PE license, BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience; NYSDOT experience required.
• Ability to review Inspector’s Daily Reports for accuracy on highways and bridges.
• Familiarity with CEES/APPIA, MURK and Site Manager or APPIA.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Review inspector daily reports for accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain monthly estimate and material certification books.
• Prepare change orders and monitor budget and schedule.
• Track submittals and maintain project files and correspondence.
• Assist with meeting minutes and job-related communications.
