Job summary

St. Paul Academy and Summit School (SPA) seeks a Network and Systems Specialist to support the school’s technology infrastructure on-site in St. Paul, MN. The role covers network, server, and endpoint management, with flexibility for occasional after-hours work.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in enterprise networking, experience with Google Workspace, Azure AD, Mosyle, and a strong cybersecurity focus. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in this school IT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years supporting enterprise network and systems infrastructure.
• Experience administering Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience administering MDM platforms; Mosyle preferred.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless.
• Experience with macOS, iOS, ChromeOS, Windows, and enterprise endpoint management.
• Knowledge of virtualization, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Experience with cybersecurity, identity management, and backups.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the school's wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure switches, routers, firewalls, access points, and related services.
• Assist with cloud platforms and identity services administration.
• Manage enterprise server infrastructure, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor system performance, backups, and infrastructure health.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and backup validation.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and procedures.
• Support MDM enrollment, deployment, and device lifecycle.
