Job summary

Wayzata Public Schools in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join the Technology team. You will implement, maintain, and support enterprise-wide instructional, learning, and administrative technology solutions, ensuring reliable services for staff and students.

This full-time, on-site role backs up data backup/restoration, VoIP, antivirus, email, and network administration, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable IT infrastructure across the district.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology preferred.
• CCNA and/or CCNP certification preferred.
• 4 years of experience with networking, AD, Nutanix AHV, Pivot3 HCI, Cisco IOS, Mosyle, Google Suite and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain enterprise-wide instructional, learning, and administrative technology.
• Backup and restore data, manage VoIP, antivirus, email, and network administration as needed.

Position Description

The Systems Administrator position is an integral member of the Technology team, supporting District 284 in delivering professional, consistent services, support, and solutions to internal and external users. This position is accountable for implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-wide instructional, learning, and administrative technology solutions. This position is responsible for delivering enterprise-wide technology solutions that provide strategic and operational value. This position also serves as a backup role for other Infrastructure and Operations Team functions such as data backup and restoration, VoIP, anti-virus, email, security, and network administration.

This position is full-time on-site, no hybrid or remote work.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology (Preferred)
• Cisco Certified Networking CCNA and/or CCNP (Preferred)
• 4 years of related experience working with networking, application deployment, Windows Active Directory, Nutanix AHV and Pivot3 HCI, Cisco IOS, Mosyle Management, Google Suite, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
