Job summary

Piedmont Community College is seeking a Network & Systems Administrator for an on-site role in Roxboro, NC. You will plan, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure, including AD, VMware, SharePoint and Office 365.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and at least 3 years of IT experience, plus CCNA and Windows Server certifications. This position requires after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information technology roles.
• CCNA and Windows Server Hybrid Core certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, troubleshoot and maintain IT infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, VMware, SharePoint and Office 365 administration.
• Configure and monitor network security features and firewalls.
• Perform system backups and documentation as per standards.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Collaborate with IT staff and management on system standards.
