The Network & Systems Administrator provides the highest level of tech support including, planning, deploying, troubleshooting and maintenance in all aspects of the infrastructure environment. The Network & Systems Administrator will be required to perform entry level to complex technical and administrative tasks.

Essential Duties
- Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Monitoring system performance, availability and troubleshooting issues
- Collecting and analyzing data to forecast infrastructure system needs before issues arise
- Identifying issues and implementing plans for remediation before the issues negatively impact the business
- Performing Active Directory, VMware, SharePoint and Office 365 Administration tasks
- Performing Software Updates (Windows and other 3rd party software)
- Installing and configuring software and hardware on physical and virtual systems.
- The ability to read and write instructions, see, hear, operate a computer, comprehend, and then carry out directives when instructed
- Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position
- Evaluates, recommends, implements, and ensures systems security
- Configures, maintains and manages network security features for networked servers
- Configures, monitors and maintains firewall to ensure network and systems integrity
- Ensures proper system backups are made and stored
- Prepares client, operations, and systems documentation according to pre-established standards
- Training and assist staff in the use of the system software
- Setup of user permissions, security classes, installing of patches.
- Available to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, and to provide after-hours support when needed.

Additional Duties
- Conducts customization and system administration tasks for network management, task/project management, help desk phone and ticket management, workgroup integration, documentation, and educational software packages across local area networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs).
- Analyzes, recommends, and evaluates new hardware, software and communications products for network compatibility and applicability
- Performs advanced diagnostics and maintenance on desktop devices when additional expertise is required
- Keeps current on new developments and techniques in the field of information technology
- Assists IT management with development of systems standards, short and long-term goals, project management and strategic directions
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Network Operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in the Information Technology field
- or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience
Licenses and Certificates
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core
