Job summary

Leidos is seeking an NIA Technician to serve as the operational safeguard for the DISA, evaluating network topology before maintenance windows and after outages. You will translate complex data into clear assessments for Government leadership, ensuring uninterrupted missions.

Qualifications include a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, a DoD Secret clearance, and 1–3 years in ITOC/NOC environments. The role is on-site at Scott AFB, IL with no remote option.

Qualifications

• On-Site Presence: at Scott AFB, IL; no remote work.
• HS diploma and 1–3 years in IT Operations Center (ITOC), NOC, or telecom.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) certification required.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
• Ability to trace network paths and understand the relationship between hardware and logical circuits.
• Strong written and verbal communication to translate findings into professional government reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze ASIs and unplanned network events to determine mission impact.
• Use network tools to assess real-time or forecasted mission impacts.
• Provide high-speed, high-accuracy impact assessments during outages for executive reporting.
• Log and update impact findings across enterprise management systems (ServiceNow and legacy tools).
