Eliassen Group is seeking a Network Engineer I to support and maintain a multi-site enterprise network in Anaheim, CA. The role involves routing, switching, VPN, firewall, and security tasks in a government-sector environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of network engineering or network support experience.
• Strong TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, and switching knowledge.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise networks.
• Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, and network security concepts.
• CCNA/Network+ or similar certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily LAN/WAN network operations across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
• Assist with routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and wireless support.
• Monitor network health and respond to incidents.
• Support network upgrades, changes, and implementations.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with teams to support business operations.
