Everforth Apex in Anaheim, California is seeking a Network Engineer I to support a multi-site LAN/WAN environment, assisting in planning, design, and day-to-day operation of network services. The role emphasizes high availability, performance, and security.

You will troubleshoot, implement routing and switching, contribute to network documentation, and coordinate with internal teams. Relevant certifications and Cisco/NGFW experience are preferred; bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in lieu; 2+ years in network support.
• Solid understanding of OSI/TCP-IP and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of VPN, firewall, RADIUS/TACACS+/802.1X, and security basics.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of multi-site LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot network issues using diagnostic tools.
• Assist in routing, switching, and security deployments.
• Plan, test, and deploy network changes.
• Document network diagrams and IP plans.
• Improve network performance and reliability.
• Support incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with teams and customers on network status.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
• Follow change management procedures.
