Job summary

American Vanguard is seeking a Network Administrator in Irvine, CA to manage and support our global network infrastructure on-site. You will oversee LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, and security, reporting to the Director of Infrastructure & Operations.

You will collaborate with the cybersecurity team, handle incidents, participate in on-call rotations, and help standardize IT processes across worldwide entities. A strong enterprise networking background and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or related infrastructure in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Ensure network availability, performance and reliability with proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Configure and manage security controls including firewalls, VPNs, ACLs and network segmentation.
• Support WAN connectivity and telecom coordination across sites.
• Assist in network upgrades, expansions and technology refreshes.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation including diagrams and IP address management.
• Respond to incidents and service requests within SLAs; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to support security initiatives and compliance.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts for network infrastructure.
