Job summary

Bristol Construction Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Quality Control Manager / Engineering Technician to provide on-site construction oversight, QA, and technical support for NAVFAC projects in the Charleston area. This role acts as the government’s on-site technical representative, ensuring compliance with contract specs, drawings, codes, and safety standards.

The position requires experience with NAVFAC, USACE, and complex multi-year programs, plus the ability to coordinate with Navy

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Quality Control Manager or Superintendent on NAVFAC/USACE projects, or ten (10) years as a Foreman in related trades on large projects.
Minimum five (5) years as Journeyman in carpentry, electrical, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, or concrete.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outage, excavation permits, burn permits, haul routes and similar items with base personnel.
Coordinate field activities with Navy clients, managers, and security personnel for seamless construction execution.
Attend Safety, CQC, and Partnering meetings as needed.
Develop Quality Assurance Plans with FEAD/ROICC and other personnel.
Prepare Construction Representative’s Reports (CRRs).
Review daily CQC and Contractor Production Reports and maintain records.
