Job summary

SunRidge Management Group in Hobbs, NM seeks a Maintenance Technician – Multifamily to perform routine maintenance and repairs across resident units and common areas. You will diagnose issues, complete service requests, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure safety and satisfaction.

The role requires basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and a strong team approach, with the ability to work independently and communicate timelines effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance or facilities maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Availability for on-call rotation and flexible scheduling as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential units and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems.
• Complete service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, including painting, patching, cleaning, and ensuring units meet market-ready standards.
