Job summary

Wellington Advisors is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, respond to work orders, and prepare vacant units for move-ins at a multifamily community. You will report to the Community Manager and Service Manager and help maintain grounds and common areas.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on-call, with a focus on safety and quality service for residents.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year maintenance experience or training.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• EPA or CPO certification required if applicable to property.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to community residents.
• Communicate daily with Service Manager and Community Manager regarding move-ins, move-outs, and work orders.
• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance for the community.
• Maintain common areas, including pools where applicable.
• Diagnose and perform repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready per quality standards.
• Maintain stock of maintenance supplies and tools.
• Assist with inspections and mandated documentation.
• On-call as needed for the property.
