Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II in Houston, TX. You will perform PMs, DOT inspections, and diagnostic repairs on mobile fleets, ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, or equivalent
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification must be obtained within 18 months
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and DOT medical card requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks
• Inspect and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation after service
• Maintain inventory on service truck and document RO in TRAIT app
• Communicate repair estimates and approvals with management and customers
