Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team and support assigned hospitals with medical waste services in Orlando, FL. This is a hands-on, on-the-go role that keeps you on your feet and involved in critical safety operations.

You'll exchange waste containers, service equipment, and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure compliance, with daily hours from 7AM to 3PM and potential overtime. Competitive pay of $18-20 per hour plus full benefits.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Team player who can work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Can-do attitude; experience in labor-intensive or logistics roles.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including spaces with sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
