Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Representative to support hospital locations in Detroit and Pontiac. You will maintain inventory, service containers, and deliver first-line customer service, working daily with drivers and hospital staff.

This role involves physical work, lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing carts, standing in PPE, and requires a drug screen and background check. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 AM–2 PM, with a permanent part-time status and pay of $24.00–$25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Willingness to pass a 5-panel urine drug screening.
• Willingness to undergo a 7-year background check.
• Experience in a warehouse or labor-intensive job with repetitive lifting.
• Basic math and ability to read/record weights accurately.
• Familiarity with weighbridge/scale systems.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work in PPE.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with hospital staff to ensure safe, timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lift containers (up to 50 lbs) and push/pull carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory of containers and ensure areas are stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
