Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Hospital Service Technician to service medical waste containers at AdventHealth locations in Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach. This is hands-on, fast-paced work that makes a real difference in patient safety and environmental stewardship.

You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull carts, and collaborate with hospital staff and field teammates to ensure timely container exchanges and proper waste segregation.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures.
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and on-the-go work.
• Own reliable transportation to multiple sites.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Willingness to travel between assigned locations.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
