Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to support hospital sites with medical waste services. This hands-on, on-the-go role involves container exchanges, servicing in clinical areas, and maintaining organized inventories.

You will work with hospital staff, manage tasks on a smartphone, and uphold safety and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment in Nashville. Competitive pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull heavy carts.
• Able to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to paperwork and procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure safe, timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
• Inspect and service Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entry to procedural spaces.
• Lift containers up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 300 lbs throughout the day.
• Maintain inventory and keep areas stocked and organized.
• Use a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team.
• Keep staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic.

This is not a desk job—you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

What will your job involve?

• Working directly withhospital staffto ensure safe and timelymedical waste container exchangesand proper segregation.
• Inspecting and servicingDaniels Health containers in clinical areas—this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
• Lifting containers(up to 50 lbs) andpushing/pulling carts(up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
• Maintaining inventoryof containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
• Using acompany-provided smartphoneto manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
• Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
• Representing Daniels Health withprofessionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
