Job summary

Proscribe LLC Medical Scribes is seeking a part-time medical scribe to support providers with real-time documentation and clerical tasks at multiple TX sites. You will join physicians in patient rooms to capture records and update EMR systems, ensuring accurate, timely data entry.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, US work authorization, background check and drug screen, and 45+ WPM typing. Ability to travel to Edinburg, Pharr, Alamo, Mission, Weslaco, McAllen is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the US.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to obtain vaccination proof as site-specific.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble medical record documentation for providers.
• Enter patient room data with physicians to capture and transcribe records.
• Update all components of the medical record as directed by the physician.
• Document subjective and objective information and clinical data accurately.
• Prepare and send documentation to physicians for review and authentication.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor lab results and screenings.
• Monitor lab duration and perform necessary follow-up.
• Ensure accurate documentation in patient records and comply with policies.
• Maintain HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Adhere to site policies and demonstrate professionalism.
• Perform additional clerical duties to improve clinic workflow.
