You will verify patient insurance, prepare and submit claims, resolve denials, and follow up on outstanding balances while staying current with payer policies and coding guidelines. Collaboration with clinical and administrative teams will support compliant, timely reimbursement.

Formación

• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and current guidelines.
• Experience with insurance carriers including Medicare.
• Ability to analyze denials and manage claims follow-up.
• 3+ years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Experience with EHR and billing software.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration with staff.
• Certification in medical billing and coding preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training desirable.
