Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services seeks a Medical Biller in Boca Raton, FL to review and verify bills, update claims, and ensure accurate AR ledger entries. You will handle complex third-party liability cases and maintain patient confidentiality while improving billing processes.

The role requires an AAPC or AHIMA coding certificate and 3–5 years of medical billing/coding experience, including WC and TPL/MVA experience. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• AAPC or AHIMA–approved Coding Certificate required.
• Three to five years of medical billing and/or coding experience.
• Experience with Workers’ Compensation and Third-Party Liability/MVA billing and collections.

Responsibilities

• Analyses, investigates, and resolves account issues and updates claims as needed.
• Verifies information and updates billing data to ensure accurate claims processing.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA/HITECH standards.
• Handles high-priority Third-Party Liability/MVA/WC cases per policy.
• Communicates with payers and facilities to support timely reimbursements.
