Froedtert Health’s Milwaukee facility is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) or MA Senior to support patient-centered care on-site. You will assist providers during visits and help patients feel at ease throughout the encounter.

The role requires maintaining BLS certification, meeting educational/licensure standards, and potential cross-training across sites to ensure smooth clinic operations. One year of healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Education: High school diploma (or GED) required plus one of the following: MA program, EMT-Basic course, trained on the job MA with one year health care experience, or MA Apprentice program.
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Remaining compliant with all organization educational, licensure or certification.
• Cross-training and floating as needed to provide services across sites and to maintain optimal clinic operations.
