Job summary

The Froedtert Health CP-MEQUON HEALTH CENTER is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient visits, prepare rooms and assist providers. This on-site role requires certification readiness and the ability to float between sites as needed.

Education alternatives include MA programs, LPN, EMT-Basic, or equivalent training; 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred, and AHA BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus one of the following MA trainings or on-the-job MA experience.
• Incumbents in MA role as of the specified date may transition according to prior descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient visits and maintain patient comfort.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure basic life support readiness.
• Cross-train to support across sites and float as needed to optimize clinic operations.
