Froedtert Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient visits as a dedicated member of the patient-centered care team. The MA facilitates provider collaboration, greets patients, prepares rooms, assists with routine procedures, and maintains certification and compliance requirements.

The role may cross-train to other sites and float to sustain clinic operations. Education includes a high school diploma or GED plus MA training pathways, and BLS certification within 90

Qualifications

• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None.
• EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED plus one of the following: MA program, LPN program, or EMT-Basic; OR one year of on-the-job MA training; OR MA Apprenticeship program.
• LICENSURE REQUIRED: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Providers (BLS) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The MA collaborates with the provider to support the patient visit.
• Maintains basic life support certification and compliance with organizational training and licensure requirements.
• Cross-training to provide services across sites and float as needed to maintain clinic operations.
