Qualifications

• BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field with eight years of related experience or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for mechanical-related concerns and coordinate with project leadership, clients, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate mechanical systems into designs and ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, project safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
• Maintain records of test results, certifications, and compliance reports for handover.
• Manage budgets and costs related to mechanical work to prevent overruns while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Review mechanical design drawings, specs, and submittals for contract compliance and codes.
• Supervise mechanical subcontractors and ensure proper sequencing and safety.
• Oversee testing, inspections, and commissioning of mechanical systems to meet performance requirements.
• Coordinate client outage procedures and plan corrective actions for test failures.
• Participate in post-construction evaluations and warranty follow-ups.
