Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Watch Officer to support the MCEN operations at Quantico, VA. The role involves 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting to ensure mission readiness across classified and unclassified networks.

You will handle Tier 1 resolutions, perform routine checks, and coordinate with the Regional Service Desk, with a requirement for an active Secret clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT operations, network support, NOC, watch floor, or service desk experience.
• Active Secret Clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+ CE) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with network monitoring, router/switch configuration, and IT ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor MCEN-N and MCEN-S networks, including email, voice, and official message traffic.
• Provide Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and after-hours Regional Service Desk support.
• Conduct routine network checks and monitor maintenance and operational status.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate issues while managing incident tickets.
• Correlate events, communicate degradations or outages, and support operations in a shift-based environment.
