Job summary

StratasCorp in Quantico, Virginia, seeks a Watch Officer (Mid) to join our DoD IT operations team on-site. The role requires an active Secret Clearance and 7 years of relevant experience in NOC/SOC or DoD watch environments.

You will monitor MCEN services, track incidents, coordinate with multiple teams, and produce reports. The position offers a full-time schedule with salary between $75,000 and $90,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience in similar DoD/NOC/SOC environments.
• Experience in a NOC, SOC, help desk, command center, or DoD watch environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational status of MCEN services and systems
• Receive and track network outages, incidents and significant events
• Maintain situational awareness for the operations center/watch floor
• Coordinate with network operations, cybersecurity, service desk, field teams and stakeholders
• Escalate significant incidents to the technical teams and leadership
• Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare shift turnover reports, daily operational summaries and incident reports
• Participate in incident bridges or conference calls during major outages
• Monitor trouble tickets
