Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking an on-site Materials Manager for the APS project in Adelanto, CA. The role oversees sourcing, procurement, and logistics, ensuring timely delivery of construction materials to the Adelanto site.

You will coordinate with local vendors, manage lead times, and work closely with project teams to meet delivery schedules. A high school diploma with 2+ years of experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree and EPC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Relevant EPC/construction experience in electric power delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages material management practices with client and vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials align with schedules and requirements.
• Forecast and plan material need dates, order by dates, and manage lead times for on-site projects.
• Oversee vendor shipments and on-site reception of materials to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform material take-offs and coordinate with engineering and construction teams for material needs.
• Manage inventory, receiving, issuing, and storage following best practices.
