Job summary

API Delevan, Inc. in Florence, KY seeks a senior Materials Manager II to lead site materials strategy, inventory control, and supplier performance. You will partner with Operations, Engineering and Finance to drive safety, quality, delivery and cash flow while building scalable processes.

You will manage planning, purchasing, scheduling, and logistics teams, optimize inventory turns, and develop a high-performing materials organization through coaching and succession planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain-related field required.
• 8+ years in materials management/supply chain in manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership in planning/purchasing/materials teams.
• Expertise in ERP/MRP, forecasting, and supplier management.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP or similar certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning, Purchasing, Scheduling, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping and Logistics teams to execute materials strategy.
• Own inventory performance including availability, value, accuracy, turns and days on hand.
• Manage SIOP process: supply planning, capacity, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Drive supplier management, escalation, and corrective actions for delivery/quality issues.
• Improve ERP master data and planning parameter accuracy for automation.
• Support compliance, cost control, and working capital optimization.
