Job summary

Pinnacle Manufacturing, LLC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT systems and infrastructure on a full-time, on-site basis. You will monitor system performance and reliability while ensuring security and up-to-date patches.

Responsibilities include managing servers and networked systems, performing troubleshooting, providing escalated technical support, and documenting configurations and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design to plan, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure and solutions.
• Proficiency in System Administration, including server management, user accounts, backups, and security controls.
• Ability to perform effective Troubleshooting and provide Technical Support for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and common networking protocols.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and OT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and reliability, apply updates and patches.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and provide escalated support.
• Manage servers and networked systems, document configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT projects supporting manufacturing operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes and standards.
