CP Industries in Granger, IN is seeking a proven manufacturing leader to run engineering, CNC, gage and fixture, and robotics/automation teams. This is a true on-site leadership role; you will build and run the team, set the schedule, decide priorities, and be accountable for results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years leading machine shops or custom manufacturing, strong CNC/automation knowledge, ISO/quality focus, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading engineering and production teams with authority to hire and set raises.
• Strong focus on labor efficiency, delivery, and quality on a production floor.
• Ability to juggle multiple custom projects and stay steady under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Direct management of supervisors, leads, and design engineering with full authority to hire, terminate, evaluate, and set raises.
• Own the production schedule, including overtime and shift staffing decisions.
• Set priorities when jobs compete for people, machines, or time to keep projects moving to completion.
• Develop talent through training and apprenticeship programs to build workforce skills.
• Own quality and ISO compliance, including CMM inspection and ISO 9001 / ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Own the plant safety program and OSHA compliance.
• Review quotes for accuracy to ensure realistic staffing from the start.
• Recommend equipment and automation investments to ownership.
• Set and report key performance metrics to ownership.
