Job summary

The role requires strong technical and project leadership, vendor management, and data analytics to deliver improvements in quality, throughput, and cost. You will bridge SCP's internal teams with outside automation partners and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing automation experience.
• Experience leading significant automation projects.
• Experience coordinating with outside vendors and integrators.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept through production implementation.
• Develop scopes, requirements, timelines, budgets, milestones.
• Translate manufacturing needs into equipment specifications.
• Manage multiple projects with visibility to schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
• Lead design reviews, FATs, SATs, installation, and validation.
• Establish success criteria: cycle time, uptime, yield, quality, ROI.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans.
• Interface with automation integrators, machine builders, vendors.
• Ensure ownership of equipment documentation and knowledge.
