Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. in Spring City, PA is seeking a Cost Accountant to own product costing, inventory accounting, manufacturing analysis, and financial reporting.

You will partner with Operations to improve profitability and support business decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on cost accounting experience, with standard costing, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years accounting with at least 1 year direct cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Proficient in GAAP, standard costing, inventory accounting, product costing, and financial analysis.
• Experience with large ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and profitability drivers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leadership to analyze business performance, profitability, and cost drivers.
• Maintain the standard cost system and perform product costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation activities.
• Manage inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, physical inventory support, and excess/obsolete reserve calculations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting financial analyses.
• Support internal and external audits while ensuring GAAP and internal control requirements.
• Generate reporting and insights that support data-driven business decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting operational and financial performance.
• Support capital investment analysis and business case evaluations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Commercial, and Leadership teams to improve processes and drive business results.
